Our nursery features two areas: newborn – 24 months, and 24 months – 48 months. All of our caregivers are faithful Christians who have been appropriately screened and trained. They will rock, walk, feed, play with and pray for your child. Diapers will also be checked and changed as needed. Snack will be provided upon request. Nursing mothers are welcome any time.

When leaving your child in the nursery, please be sure children are healthy, with no green mucus, fever, diarrhea, or vomiting within the last 24 hours. Check in at the Check-In table in the chapel. Then…

1. Place a name tag on your child.

2. Sign your child in on the check-in form, noting any special instructions.

3. Label diaper bag, bottle and sipper cups.

4. Remember to sign out your child when you pick him or her up.

Please be sure to answer your cell phone and do not leave the church facilities at any time while your child is in our care.

In order to ensure the safety and health of all children and caregivers, please do not bring your child to the nursery if he or she has had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: diarrhea, vomiting, fever, rash, or chronic runny nose.

Taught by church family who love to share Jesus and the love of Christ with children, Country Oaks provides a safe environment for our children to learn and grow. Volunteers and staff are all background checked and their references are confirmed by our Children’s Ministry Director, Mike Owens. Additionally, no one is invited to volunteer in this ministry unless they have been around COBC and are known here.

Our computerized check-in program, located in the Chapel, guarantees that children end up in the right Sunday School class and go home with the right parents.

From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
