Men of the Word

Men of the Word is an ongoing men’s discipleship ministry offered in 4–12 week sessions throughout the year. Each session equips men to rightly handle the Word of God and lead with biblical conviction in their homes, church, and community.

FALL 2026

Session 4: Old Testament Survey 1
Dates: August 31 - November 19, 2026
Meets: Mondays • 6:30–8:00 PM or Thursdays • 7:00–8:30 PM
(Same lesson taught both nights; attend either session as needed.)

The Old Testament is more than a collection of ancient stories; it is the unfolding account of God’s redemptive plan. From creation and the fall to covenant, kingdom, exile, and restoration, every book points us toward our need for Christ and prepares us to understand His first and second coming.

Join us for a 12-week journey through Genesis through Esther as we learn how to read Old Testament narrative, trace its major themes, and see God’s faithfulness throughout Israel’s history. This class is designed to help men better understand the Bible, connect its individual stories to the larger story of redemption, and become more confident students and teachers of God’s Word.
